Farm Director Lory Williams grew up on a farm in Southeastern Colorado, bordering the John Martin Reservoir. Early lifetime experiences included working the fields with Papa and Grandpa Clayton, Milo harvest ( you can ask her about that sometime ),gathering cows on horseback and milking cows daily, churning butter, and helping Pop. Actively involved in 4-H, Lory always entered in sewing and cooking, And, eventually she was a 4-H leader.
Fast forward to now...Lory and her husband Roy have about 900 acres in several counties in Western Kansas, and Eastern Colorado. They reside on the Lane County property where they have horses, cows and working cattle dogs.
